A programme of free webinars are being held by NETpositive Futures. Sessions can be attended live but will also be recorded and then made freely available. These online sessions will offer:

  • Training and masterclass sessions for those exploring opportunities for professional development  

  • Discussions and peer support with a focus on the short and medium-term challenges the pandemic has brought into focus

Each session will last 45 - 60 minutes and be a mixture of presentations and discussions. Webinar topics for HE professionals are:

Training: What does social value look like in a coronavirus context?

HE procurement professionals have recently started to understand how to consider social value as part of their process and practice. This session will explore what this might look like during our current period of societal flux. 

Topics covered will include:

  • Reducing exposure to supply chain risk

  • Maximising opportunities presented by rapid change

  • Demonstrating how your university adds value

Masterclass: Social value and sustainability; are they really that different?

Sustainable or responsible procurement is now embedded into process and practice by the best procurement teams in the sector. 

This session will explore the links to social value and what the implications are for procurement professionals working in HE.

Discussion forum: Supporting and developing your suppliers: What does best practice look like?

There are many ways to support and develop your supply base during these troubling times and beyond. NETpositive Futures will share what they are aware of and we will encourage participants to share what they have been doing or plan to do!
