Delivering social value is a key component of the government’s procurement agenda. As part of that drive, the Cabinet Office has published PPN 06/20 on taking account of social value in a public procurement. The Social Value Model sets out model questions, award criteria and reporting metrics aimed at enabling the meaningful evaluation of social value commitments in tenders.

Mills & Reeve will be hosting a session with speakers are public procurement experts. Giving you a useful overview of the Social Value Model before digging down into some of the real world issues that clients are facing when incorporating social value into their procurements.

The session will be of interest to

  1. Public sector authorities wishing to address social value elements in the design of their procurements
  2. Private sector suppliers wanting to secure maximum credit for their social value offering in tenders to the public sector.
