The ‘Green Side’ of the Managing Director

 

As part of NWUPC’s commitment to social responsibility we have all ‘adopted’ a charity, cause or community association which we are either involved with or have a personal link to or particular feeling for.

 

Although many have found it difficult to believe Paul our Managing Director is involved with his local Horticultural Society, a community association, which manages his local allotments. Paul derives a great deal of pleasure in his free time by working on his allotment along with his wife Debbie.  Paul is on the committee lending his ‘expertise’ in finance and marketing.  He has made it known that he has almost no grasp of any horticultural matters whatsoever (I understand it’s his wife who is the expert on that side of things). Mind you given his past archaeological career he is used to doing quite a bit of digging!   As a result of Paul’s enthusiasm, he has used the Horticultural Society as the recipient for his donation.

Sustainability … Our Story and Success!!

 

NWUPC are delighted to announce our success in achieving Level 4 of the Flexible Framework demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and assurance that this is embedded at every level of our organisation.

 

Working closely with our members over many years, it has become increasingly evident that their sustainability requirements and targets have grown and that the need for this to be reflected in our Framework Agreements is key to supporting our institutions.
